City of Visalia Request for Proposals RFP-25-26-15 Open Ground Land Lease PROPOSALS will be received by Visalia Purchasing Dept., 707 W. Acequia Ave., Visalia, CA, until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, for the lease of approximately 408 acres of City-owned open land. The property is located east of State Highway 99 and along State Highway 198 in the City of Visalia and is available under a long-term ground lease agreement. To obtain a copy of the RFP document and land lease requirements, call (559) 713-4334 or email purchasing@visalia.gov. The documents are also available at various builders’ exchanges and can be downloaded by registered users of BidNetDirect. On Monday, March 16, 2026, a non-mandatory, informational meeting will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Visalia Reclamation Facility, 7579 Ave 288, Visalia, CA 93277. Interested proposers are encouraged to participate. This is a time to ask questions about the terms and conditions of the lease agreement and requirements. The City affirmatively ensures that Minority Business Enterprises & Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will have full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice.
