NOTICE INVITING BIDS West Covina Unified School District The West Covina Unified School District ( "District" , acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive sealed bids for the contract below. BID INFORMATION: Bid No. 06:2526 PROJECT: Unit Cost Pricing Asphalt and Concrete Installation/Repairs CONTRACT TYPE: This is an oncall, asneeded contract. Bidders will provide unit pricing and "Grand Total" costs based on specific Project Scenarios defined in the bid documents. CUPCCAA REGISTRATION: This Project is being bid under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (Public Contract Code �22030 et seq.). Bidders must be registered on the District's informal bidding list via PQBids.com. LICENSE REQUIRED: A valid and active Class A and C12 License is required at the time of bid and for the duration of the Contract. The Contractor's license number must be included on the bid proposal. BID SUBMISSION & OPENING Bid Due Date/Opening Date: April 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Submission: Bids must be submitted electronically at PQBids.com. Forms: Bids must be presented only on Districtfurnished forms, including the ScenarioBased Bid Form. RFI Deadline: All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via PQBids by April 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.</ul> MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE & JOB WALK Date/Time: April 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Location: Purchasing Department, 1717 W. Merced Ave., West Covina, CA 91790. Requirements: Attendance at the entire mandatory job walk is required. Failure to attend will deem the bid nonresponsive. Bid documents are available only to those who attend and remain for the duration.</ul> LEGAL & CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS Bidder's Security: Each bid must be accompanied by security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the "Grand Total" of the submitted scenarios. Security must be cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bond from a California admitted surety. Bonds: The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each at 100% of the Contract amount. Prevailing Wages: Contractor and subcontractors must comply with all prevailing wage requirements (Labor Code � 1720 et seq.) and be currently registered with the DIR. Withdrawal: No bidder may withdraw any bid for ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening.
