CITY OF OAKLAND, CA OAKLAND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (OPW) Notice to Bidders Project No. 1007504 STONERIDGE COURT SEWER REPAIR Description: The proposed work consists of construction of a mechanically stabilized earth wall and its appurtenant drainage; repair and reconstruction of sections of sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer manhole, and a concrete v-ditch; construction of railing at the top of the MSE wall; and associated excavation, grading, and BMPs. Contractor shall provide all the required design, labor, materials, equipment, tools, disposal (including any possible fees), mobilization, site access measures, restoration of site and site access, traffic control, removal of debris, and incidentals to perform the full scope as described on the plans and/or specifications to complete the proposed work under this contract. The site is located on a steep hill slope behind residential properties. Access to the site will be relatively limited, passing through areas between residential properties with materials and equipment. Potential site access locations are shown on the project plans. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating construction access and staging with the affected residents and property owners. The Contractor shall incorporate all projected costs for site access and all projected costs for restoration of private property improvements into their Site Access and their Restoration bid items, respectively.
