CITY OF PINOLE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at or after 5:00 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, 2131 Pear Street, Pinole, California, the City Council of the City of Pinole will hold a Public Hearing to consider the following matter: Consideration of updates to the Citywide Master Fee Schedule, specifically for Building fees associated with the Health and Safety Rental Inspection Program pursuant to Pinole Municipal Code Chapter 8.30, based on an updated cost of service (user fee) study; and adoption of updated Administrative Regulations for Implementation of the Residential Health and Safety Rental Inspection Ordinance (Pinole Municipal Code Chapter 8.30). The City Council will consider adoption of a Resolution establishing increased Building Division fees associated with the full cost of the Health and Safety Rental Inspection Program. In addition, the City Council will consider adoption of a Resolution promulgating amendments to adopted Administrative Regulations from the Chief Building Official related to the implementation of Chapter 8.30, the "Residential Health and Safety Rental Inspection Ordinance," as provided by Pinole Municipal Code Section 8.30.170. The proposed amendments to the Administrative Regulations include specificity on inspection of deed-restricted affordable units required to be inspected by a government agency or their designee. Any person wishing to speak to the City Council on this matter is invited to attend the meeting in-person or submit comments to the City Clerk at comment@pinole.gov prior to 3:00 pm on March 3, 2026. Instructions on how to join the Zoom Teleconference to provide comments orally during the public hearing are contained in the agenda for the meeting. Copies of the text of the proposed ordinance will be available for public review as part of the City Council agenda and meeting packet no later than February 27, 2026 by 5:00 pm. The proposed ordinance will also be posted on the City website at https://www.pinole.gov/city-government/city-council/meeting-agendas/.
