NOTICE Ordinance No. 1287 An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of South El Monte, Adopting Zone Text Amendment (No. 2501) to Amend South El Monte Municipal Code Chapter 17.09 and Chapter 5.26 to Allow Commercial Cannabis Operations in the Manufacturing Zone and to Amend the Existing Required Buffer Distance from Jurisdictional Boundaries to 350 Feet and Maintain 1,000 Foot Buffers from All Other Sensitive Uses. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular city council meeting held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the City of South El Monte City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1287 by the following vote: AYES: Delgado, Rodriguez, and Mayor Pro Tem Bojorquez. NOES: Acosta, and Mayor Olmos. A full and complete copy is available in the City Clerk's Office located at 1415 Santa Anita Avenue, South El Monte, California.
