NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission and the Town Council of the Town of San Anselmo will hold public hearings to consider adoption of an ordinance amending Title 10 (Planning and Zoning), Chapter 3 (Land Use Regulations) of the San Anselmo Municipal Code. The proposed ordinance would amend Section 10-3.302 (Land Use Regulations Table) to implement Housing Element–related code cleanup provisions affecting multifamily housing and would include related findings of exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).The proposed ordinance is exempt from CEQA pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080.17, which exempts the local adoption of ordinances related to second units in single- and multi-family residential zones, and CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301 (Existing Facilities) and 15061(b)(3), as it can be seen with certainty that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment.The Planning Commission public hearing will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The Town Council public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.Copies of the proposed ordinance and associated staff report will be available for public review at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting at San Anselmo Town Hall, 525 San Anselmo Avenue, San Anselmo, California, and online at www.townofsananselmo.org .All persons wishing to provide public comment may appear and be heard before the Planning Commission and/or Town Council at the scheduled time at Town Hall, 525 San Anselmo Avenue, San Anselmo, California, or participate remotely via Zoom.
