Notice of Public Hearings for Advanced Technology Education Park Advantech Corporation’s North American Campus Approval of Grant of Easement Agreements with Southern California Edison Company and Cox Communications California, LLCNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the South Orange County Community College District (“SOCCCD” or “District”) will hold Public Hearings at the SOCCCD Ronald Reagan Board of Trustees Room, Room 145 – Health Sciences/District Offices Building, 28000 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, 92692 on February 23, 2026, at or around 6:30 PM, to consider the subject project described below:From: Ann-Marie Gabel, Vice Chancellor, SOCCCD agabel@socccd.edu (949) 582-4663 SOCCCD, 28000 Marguerite Parkway 3rd Floor, Mission Viejo, CA 92692Project Title: Advanced Technology and Education Park (ATEP) Advantech Corporation’s North American Campus Site Utilities/Grant of Easements to Southern California Edison Company (SCE) and Cox Communications California, LLC (Cox)Project Description: The purpose of the hearings is to consider approval of Grant of Easement agreements with SCE and Cox which will allow each to construct, reconstruct, maintain, replace, inspect, and operate their respective utilities.Project Location: The Project site is located at 1602/1606 Victory Road in the City of Tustin.The District, acting by and through its Governing Board, will hold public hearings to determine whether or not to enter into the proposed Grant of Easement Agreements with SCE and Cox upon the terms and conditions set forth therein or upon such other terms as the Board may determine to be in the best interests of the District. The easements will allow SCE and Cox to construct, reconstruct, maintain, replace, inspect, and operate their respective utilities at ATEP’s Advantech Campus.Those wishing to comment on the Project may either appear in person at the public hearing or submit written comments, which must be received by the District prior to the hearing.
