CITY OF MISSION VIEJOPLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSIONNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Transportation Commission of the City of Mission Viejo will conduct a public hearing pertaining to the item listed below. DATE AND TIME OF HEARING: Monday, April 13, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. LOCATION OF HEARING: City Council Chamber, City of Mission Viejo, 200 Civic Center, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT P-DCA2026-0001 – A City-initiated petition for consideration of an amendment to Title 9 of the Mission Viejo Municipal Code, to establish Objective Design Standards (ODS), as directed by the City Council as a Phase 2 follow-up to the Phase 1 ODS adopted by Urgency Ordinance #23-350 by the City Council on July 11, 2023, as identified in the Housing Plan of the City’s 6th Cycle (2021-2029) Housing Element. The Planning and Transportation Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council on the proposed amendment for final determination at the next available City Council meeting CEQA DETERMINATION: Categorical Exemption INVITATION TO BE HEARD: Those persons desiring to testify in favor of or in opposition to the proposal will be given an opportunity to do so at the public hearing.
