Public hearing on development impact fees scheduled for March 3, 2026.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR ADOPTION OF PROPOSED IMPACT
FEE NEXUS STUDY AND PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE UPDATES


Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, or as soon thereafter as may be heard, the City Council of the City of Yuba City will hold a public hearing to obtain public comment about the consideration of (1) the adoption of an impact fee nexus study (“Nexus Study”) relating to increased development impact fees for general road improvements (collectively, “DIF”), and (2) adoption of the proposed Development Impact Fees.

The Nexus Study and proposed DIFs will be adopted in accordance with the Mitigation Fee Act, commencing with Government Code section 66000 et seq. The Nexus Study and all supporting data for the Fees are available for public review with the City Clerk. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (530) 822-4817, or by email at:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposed Nexus Study and the proposed Development Impact Fees described above. At the above noted time and place, testimony from interested persons will be heard by the City Council and duly considered prior to taking action on the proposed Nexus Study and Development Impact Fees.

All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing to express their opinions. Written or verbal statements will be accepted. The City Council Chambers are accessible by wheelchair. If you require auxiliary aids or services (i.e., signing services hearing amplification) to make a presentation to the City Council, the City will be available to assist you. Please contact the City Clerk’s office (530)-822-4817 at least 72 hours in advance so such aids or services can be arranged.
