NOTICE AND SUMMARY ORDINANCE 700 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE ADDING CHAPTER 2-19 "ELECTRONIC FILING OF CAMPAIGN DISCLOSURE STATEMENTS" IS HEREBY ADDED TO TITLE 2 "ADMINISTRATION" OF THE LAFAYETTE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE FILING OF CAMPAIGN FINANCE DISCLOSURES AND DETERMINING THE ORDINANCE TO BE EXEMPT FROM CEQA Notice is hereby given that on March 9, 2026, the City Council of the City of Lafayette will consider an ordinance adding Chapter 2-19 to the Lafayette Municipal Code entitled "Electronic Filing of Campaign Disclosure Statements" that will require elected officials, candidates, committees, and other persons to electronically file statements, reports, forms or other documents as required under the Political Reform Act when they have received contributions or made expenditures of $2,000 or more in a calendar year.
