PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCECITY OF LAKE FOREST ORDINANCE NO. 385 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 17, 2026, the City Council of the City of Lake Forest introduced Ordinance No. 385 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE FOREST AMENDING TITLE 1, TITLE 5, TITLE 6, AND TITLE 8 TO MAKE MINOR REFINEMENTS, CORRECTIONS, AND CLEAN-UP AMENDMENTS; AND ADDING CHAPTER 11.64 TO DIVISION VII OF TITLE 11 REGULATING FIREWORKS; AND DETERMINING THE ORDINANCE TO BE EXEMPT FROM CEQA. The ordinance would address day-to-day functions of the City related to sidewalk and commercial vending, property maintenance standards, and public nuisance regulations. Several of the changes remove or revise provisions that are obsolete or no longer permitted due to recent State legislation or prior Municipal Code updates.
