Public hearing on objections to weed removal in Redlands scheduled for March 17, 2026.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON ANY OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED REMOVAL OF WEEDS FROM THE PROPERTIES IN REDLANDS PREVIOUSLY DECLARED A PUBLIC NUISANCE.NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 17, 2026, pursuant to Government Code Sections 39501 and 39502, et seq., the Redlands City Council adopted Resolution No. 8751 declaring as a public nuisance, all weeds growing upon the following private properties or in any public streets or sidewalks must be abated by the removal thereof:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that unless the property owners of said properties set forth in this Notice remove all such weeds from their property such weeds will be removed and such nuisance abated by the City and the cost of such removal will be assessed upon the lots and lands from which or from the front or rear of which such weeds shall have been removed. Such cost will constitute a lien upon such lots or lands until paid and will be collected upon the next tax roll upon which general municipal taxes are collected.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that all property owners having any objections to the proposed removal of such weeds from the aforementioned properties are hereby notified to attend a public hearing of the Redlands City Council to be held on March 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Redlands City Council Chambers of Redlands City Hall, located at 35 Cajon Street, Ste. 2, Redlands, California 92373 when and where objections will be heard and given due consideration.
Due to time constraints and the number of persons wishing to give oral testimony, time restrictions may be placed on oral testimony at the hearing regarding this project.
