CITY OF SAN DIMAS PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE SUMMARY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 24, 2026 the City Council of the City of San Dimas, California, introduced, and on March 24, 2026 adopted, an Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN DIMAS, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN DIMAS AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM. The Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1335) authorizes amendment to the City's contract with the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) to add language reflecting the California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), which became effective in January of 2013. Language added to the City's CalPERS' contract includes the 2% at 62 retirement plan, which is required for new local miscellaneous members under PEPRA. The contract amendment was initiated at CalPERS' request. I, Debra Black, City Clerk of the City of San Dimas, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced for first reading on February 24, 2026.
