PUBLIC NOTICE On February 19th, the Housing Authority of the County of Butte (HACB) published a draft plan revision of its Section 8 Administrative Plan for 2025-26FY. This document will be available for review during normal business hours (8a-5p) at the following location: 2039 Forest Ave Chico or online at www.butte-housing.com. The Housing Authority of the County of Butte provides access to affordable and innovative housing solutions for the well-being of all. We support residents in securing and maintaining quality housing as a pathway to fostering sustainable, resilient, and stable communities. The Board of Commissioners will consider adoption of this plan at its meeting at 2:00pm on April 16th at 2039 Forest Ave Chico. The HACB is a public housing authority and, in accordance with regulation, is submitting a plan to the US Dept of Housing & Urban Development. The draft plan revision covers: Section 8 Administrative Plan. Chapter 4: Applications, Waiting List and Tenant Selection section will be revised in order to better serve the needs of our community.
