CITY OF OCEANSIDE ORDINANCE ADOPTED ORDINANCE NO. 26-OR0123-1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ARTICLE XII, SECTION 12.3 OF THE OCEANSIDE TRAFFIC CODE BY THE ADDITION TO THE SECTION ESTABLISHING PROHIBITIONS OF HEAVY VEHICLES FROM USING CERTAIN STREETS (Heavy Vehicle Prohibition on Loretta Street south of State Route 76.) WHEREAS, Section 35701 of the California Vehicle Code authorizes a city to adopt an ordinance prohibiting the use of a street by any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight; andWHEREAS, the City of Oceanside desires to prohibit such vehicles from certain streets.NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Oceanside, California, does ordain as follows:SECTION 1. Oceanside Traffic Code, Section 12.3, Subsection (a), is amended to add the following streets:“(20) Loretta Street south of State Route 76”SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be codified in the Oceanside Traffic Code.SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Oceanside is hereby directed to publish this ordinance, or the title hereof as a summary, pursuant to state statute, once within fifteen (15) days of its passage in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Oceanside.SECTION 4.
