NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN A Regular meeting of the Stockton City Council will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 pm, in the Council Chamber, 2nd Floor, 425 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA, to consider a City-initiated Ordinance amending Title 16 of the Stockton Municipal Code, Division 3, Chapter 16.80 and Division 8, Chapter 16.244 related to accessory dwelling units and compliance with state law. Questions about the hearing and project may be directed to Michael McDowell, Assistant Community Development Director at (209) 937-8690 or michael.mcdowell@stocktonca.gov. All proceedings before this meeting body are conducted in English. The City does not furnish interpreters and if one is needed, it shall be the responsibility of the person needing one. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and California Law, it is the policy of the City to offer its public programs, services and meetings in a manner that is readily accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. If you are disabled and require a copy of a public notice, or an agenda and/or agenda packet in an appropriate alternative format; or if you require other accommodation, please contact the Office of the City Clerk located at 425 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA 95202 during normal business hours or by calling (209) 937-8458, at least 5 days in advance of the hearing/meeting. Advance, notification within this guideline will enable the City/Agency to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
