On March 24, 2026, the Truckee Town Council introduced Ordinance 2026-03. The ordinance will amend the Truckee Municipal Code, Chapter 10.18 Parking Regulations to add clarification and updates to Sections 10.18.060, 10.18.070, 10.18.160 and 10.18.170, repeal Section 10.18.190, and add Section 10.18.210 for the establishment of an overnight parking permit program.
The second reading of the ordinance is scheduled for the April 7, 2026, Town Council meeting. If adopted the ordinance will become effective May 7, 2026. The entire text of the ordinance is available at Town Hall during regular business hours. A copy may also be requested by emailing truckee@townoftruckee.gov .
