On March 24, 2026, the Truckee Town Council introduced Ordinance 2026-05. The ordinance will amend the Truckee Municipal Code, Title 13 Streets and Sidewalks, Chapter 13.08 Sidewalk Vending to clarify certain sidewalk vendor regulations, and update the Town’s fee schedule to add a fee for a sidewalk vending application.
The second reading of the ordinance is scheduled for the April 7, 2026, Town Council meeting. If adopted the ordinance will become effective May 7, 2026.
