The Corte Madera Town Council is requesting applications from residents who may be interested in joining any of the following Boards, Commissions or Committees (Advisory Bodies): Planning Commission, Flood Control Board, Finance Advisory Committee, Sales Tax Citizens’ Oversight Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission, Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and Climate Action Committee. All Corte Madera residents who are registered voters of the Town are eligible to apply for appointment unless otherwise specified in the Municipal Code (there are youth memberships available for persons under the age of 18 for the Parks and Recreation Commission, Climate Action Committee, and Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee).Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee advises the Council and staff in identifying issues related to bicycle, pedestrian circulation, transportation safety, compliance with accessibility laws, and safety concerns in the Town and in exploring and building consensus for potential solutions. The two-year terms of three (3) Committee Members and one-year term of the Youth Member are expiring on June 30, 2026.
