NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF DUARTE PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT 2601 Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Economic Development Commission of the City of Duarte will conduct a public hearing on April 20, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 1600 Huntington Drive, Duarte, California, to consider the following: Municipal Code Amendment 2601: A Cityinitiated request to amend Chapter 19.38 (OffStreet Parking Regulations and Design) of the Duarte Development Code (DDC), including Section 19.38.050 (Offstreet parking space requirements), and Table 34 to update development standards related to singlefamily residences and offstreet parking requirements and to bring the Development Code into conformance with State Law. Environmental Determination: The proposed amendment to the DDC is exempt per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061 (b)(3) (common sense exemption) that applies to projects which do not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Any interested party may participate by submitting written comments to the Planning Staff prior to the hearing and those comments will be provided to the Planning Commissioners for consideration. If you challenge this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only the issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
