NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the hour of 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers at 2415 University Avenue, East Palo Alto, the City of East Palo Alto Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting on the following item: Project Description: City of East Palo Alto Vista 2035 General Plan Safety and Noise Element and Infrastructure Services and Facilities Element Updates. Project Location: Citywide Recommendation: Adopt a resolution recommending that the City of East Palo Alto Planning Commission: 1. Recommend the East Palo Alto City Council adopt the City of East Palo Alto Safety and Noise Element and Infrastructure and Facilities Element Update to the Vista 2035 General Plan; Find that project is exempt pursuant to a common-sense exemption under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) because implementation of the proposed project would not have the potential cause a significant effect on the environment where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA. Alternatively, as the proposed action involves a policy change only, it is statutorily exempt pursuant to Section 15262 (Feasibility and Planning Studies). A challenge to the above item in court may raise only those issues which were raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence to the City of East Palo Alto at, or prior to, the public hearing.
