NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THEFOUNTAIN VALLEY CITY COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, in the City Council Chamber, 10200 Slater Avenue, Fountain Valley, California, the Fountain Valley City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on the following items:1. ADOPTION OF THE 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (UWMP)2. ADOPTION OF THE 2025 WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN (WSCP)The public hearing is being held in accordance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act (California Water Code Sections 10610 through 10657; herein referred to as the “Act”). The Act requires “every urban water supplier providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers or supplying more than 3,000 acre-feet of water annually” to prepare, adopt, and file a UWMP, which includes the WSCP, with the California Department of Water Resources and review and update its UWMP every five years. The purpose of the public hearing will be to solicit public comments prior to the adoption of the proposed updated UWMP and WSCP.Copies of the proposed 2025 UWMP and 2025 WSCP are available for public inspection at either the Corporation Yard, located at 17300 Mt. Herrmann Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, or the Office of the City Clerk in City Hall, located at 10200 Slater Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, during normal business hours. They are also available on the City’s website (www.fountainvalley.gov).All interested persons are invited to attend the above public hearing and be heard at the time and place specified above.
