CITY OF GRASS VALLEY – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT PLANNING DIVISIONGRASS VALLEY, CA 95945(530) 274- 4330 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Grass Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley, California, for the following project: Major Use Permit (26PLN-0011): A developed property with multi-unit constructed/condo minimized business suites, one of the suites (F) is proposing a small-scale pet cremation business. The property is zoned as “SP-1B” (Light Industrial), General Plan designation is “Light Industrial”. Project Location : 1050 Whispering Pines Lane, Suite F, Grass Valley, CA 95945 (APN: 009-760-026), located within the Whispering Pines Industrial Park corridor of the Whispering Pines Specific Plan Area. Environmental Review: The project is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act and has been determined to qualify under categorical exemption Section 15301, Existing Facilities. The Planning Commission will make a determination on the applications and environmental review.
