NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE hemet unified School District APPROVING AN INCREASE TO STATUTORY SCHOOL FACILITY FEES IMPOSED ON NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65995
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board ("Board") of the Hemet Unified School District ("School District") will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Meeting to be held on April 14, 2026, to allow for public comment prior to consideration of its report titled "2026 Fee Justification Study" ("Fee Study"), and consider adopting a resolution of the Board of the School District to increase Statutory School Facility Fees Imposed on New Residential and Commercial/Industrial Construction Pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995.
The Fee Study justifies such adjustments, which is incorporated herein by reference, and on file at the School District Office, located at 1791 W. Acacia Avenue, Hemet, CA 92545, and is available for public review from March 31, 2026, through April 14, 2026 .
The Public Hearing of the School District, to be held April 14, 2026, will begin at 5:30 P.M. or soon thereafter, at the District Office, located at 1791 W. Acacia Avenue, Hemet, CA 92545 .
