Public hearing on development impact fee updates scheduled for May 26, 2026.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGCITY OF HEMETDEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE ADOPTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hemet will hold a public hearing on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the City of Hemet Council Chamber located at 450 E. Latham Ave., Hemet, CA 92543, to consider the adoption of proposed development impact fee updates as outlined in the Nexus Study.The Nexus Study and data establishing the estimated cost required to provide the services for which the fees are levied and the revenue sources anticipated to provide those services will be available for public review at the Office of the City Clerk beginning May 16, 2026. A copy may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk at cityclerk@hemetca.gov or 951-765-2395.Any interested person may appear at the hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
