CITY OF LA HABRA HEIGHTS - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING2026 ANNUAL BRUSH CLEARANCE PROGRAM Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Habra Heights will hold a public hearing on April 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter in the City Council Chambers located at 1245 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, CA 90631, to consider the following:City Council Resolution No. 2026-04, declaring that weeds, rubbish, refuse, or other combustible materials growing upon or in front of properties and dirt/debris runoff from private property upon public roadways constitutes a public nuisance. Such public nuisance must be abated, and dirt/debris upon roadway must be cleared immediately. Failure of the property owner to abate any such nuisance on or in front of his/her property will cause the City to perform the abatement. The cost will be assessed upon the land and will constitute a lien upon such land until paid. All property owners are required to abate any and all hazardous conditions by the program deadline of May 1, 2026. All property owners having any objections to the proposed removal of the weeds, rubbish, or other flammable materials are hereby notified to attend the meeting where their objections will be heard and given due consideration. Written comments may be submitted at or prior to the hearing. You may mail your comments to the City of La Habra Heights 1245 N.
