NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lomita Planning Commission will hold public hearings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, to consider the following:ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT NO. 2026-03: An amendment to the planned residential development standards, division of land, and senior citizen housing and multi-family housing development standards to amend Sections 11-1.15.02(B), 11-1.30.17 and 11-1.30.14 of Lomita Municipal Code (LMC) Title XI (Planning and Zoning) Chapter 1 (Zoning), and LMC Chapter 2, and find the action to be categorically exempt from the California Environmentally Quality ActZoning Text Amendment No. 2026-04: A code update to remove Section 11-1.43.07 (Affordable housing in-lieu requirements) of LMC Title XI (Planning and Zoning) Chapter 1 (Zoning) and find the action to be categorically exempt from the California Environmentally Quality Act The public hearings will take place in the Council Chambers at Lomita City Hall, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita, CA 90717. At the public hearings, you may appear and be heard, or you may write to the Planning Commission in support of or in opposition to this matter. If you appeal the decision of the Planning Commission to the City Council, you may be limited to raising only those issues that were raised at this public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at or before the hearing.
