NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Case Number: 250914 (ZCA25002; LCPA25002) Application Date: 09/13/2025 Project Location: Citywide Project Applicant: City of Long Beach, Department of Community Development Approval(s) Requested: Zoning Code Amendment, Local Coastal Program Amendment Proposed Project: A Zoning Code Amendment (ZCA25002) and Local Coastal Program Amendment (LCPA25002) to amend Title 21 of the Zoning Regulations and Title 22 of the Transitional Zoning Regulations related to the definition of mobile food facilities (i.e. mobile food trucks) and their operation on private property. The changes to the zoning regulations will support proposed changes to Title 5 and Title 8 of the Long Beach Municipal Code. (Citywide) This project was approved by the Planning Commission on February 19, 2026 Environmental Review: This project qualifies for a categorical exemption per Sections 15304 (Minor Alterations to Land) and 15311 (Accessory Structures) of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines. (CE25143) This project also includes a future amendment to the Local Coastal Program for areas in the Coastal Zone and is subject to certification by the California Coastal Commission.
