TOWN OF LOS GATOS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Los Gatos Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers (110 E. Main St., Los Gatos, CA, 95030) and via teleconference. The Town Council will consider adopting resolutions to update Town fees, fines, and service charges. Service fees have been increased in the amount of the current Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Building Cost Index (BCI) adjustments. In addition, a permit fee for annual utility blanket permits is being added, a license agreement fee is being added, residential alarm permit registration and renewal fees are being added, and service fees related to review of development projects and special event signage have been increased to recover Town costs in staff time and consultant review. With regard to fines and penalties, penalties for false alarms have been added, fines for unlawful fireworks use have been increased, minor administrative adjustments for accuracy have been made, fines for nuisance activities have been revised to match current practice, and Fire Code references have been updated. Relevant data required by Government Code Sections 66016 and 66019 is available for review at the Clerk Department, 110 E. Main St, Los Gatos, CA 95030. PLEASE NOTE: This item may be withdrawn or rescheduled at the discretion of the Town. Members of the public are advised to check the final meeting agenda, which will be posted no later than 72 hours before the meeting at: https://losgatos-ca.municodemeetings.com/. The final agenda will confirm whether the item will be heard; if it is not listed on the agenda, it has been moved to a future date for consideration. All persons interested in said application are encouraged to speak in-person or via Zoom at this hearing.
