NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO AN EXISTING COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2017-1 (MAINTENANCE SERVICES) (ANNEXATION NO. 39) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Menifee on February 4, 2026 adopted its Resolution No. 26-1678, in which it declared its intention to annex territory to existing Community Facilities District No. 2017-1 (Maintenance Services) (the "CFD No. 2017-1"), and to levy a special tax to pay for certain maintenance services, all pursuant to the provisions of the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, Chapter 2.5, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the California Government Code. The resolution describes the territory to be annexed and describes the rate and method of apportionment of the proposed special tax. No change in the tax levied in the existing CFD No. 2017-1 is proposed. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the City Council has fixed 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in the City Council Chambers located at 29844 Haun Road, Menifee, California 92586, as the time and place when and where the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the annexation of territory to CFD No. 2017-1. At the hearing, the testimony of all interest persons for or against the annexation of the territory or the levying of the special taxes will be heard. If and to the extent participation in the March 18, 2026 meeting must occur by teleconference, videoconference, or other electronic means authorized by the Ralph M. Brown Act or an Executive Order of the Governor of California, the means and methods for participating the meeting shall be posted on the Agenda for said meeting, which shall be posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting on the City of Menifee (www.cityofmenifee.us), and outside of City Hall at 29844 Haun Road, Menifee, California 92586.
