NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Moorpark, California, on Wednesday, April 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at Moorpark City Hall, located at 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, California, 93021, to consider the application described below. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to California State law, the City Council has determined that the proposal is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as it does not constitute a project as defined by Section 15378 pf the State CEQA Guidelines and therefore no environmental documentation is required. Members of the public who want to attend the meeting may do so in person or watch electronically. Public comments can be made in person at the meeting or submitted by email. Email: Send written comments to: moorpark@moorparkca.gov prior to 4:00 p.m. on meeting day. (Please limit to 500 words). Project Description: Assembly Bill 2561: Status of Vacancies, Recruitment Efforts, and Retention Strategies Applicant: City of Moorpark Proposal: In accordance with Government Code Section 3502.3 (Assembly Bill 2561), public agencies must present the status of vacancies, recruitment and retention efforts at a public hearing at least once per fiscal year. This is an informational item, and no action is required to be taken.
