NEVADA COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR REGULAR MEETINGNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday May 13, at 1:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter, as the matter may be heard, in the Board Chambers of the Eric Rood Administrative Center, at 950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City, California, the Nevada County Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing for the following project: 1:30 p.m. PLN25-0133; CUP25-0009; EI25-0001: A Conditional Use Permit application proposing the construction and operation of a 150-foot-tall faux pine tree (monopine) unmanned wireless communication facility. Associated equipment cabinets will be placed at the base of the pole within a 2,500-square-foot leased area. LOCATION: 22044 Purdon Road, Nevada City, CA 95959. Approx. 0.3 driving mile from Purdon Crossing South Yuba River State Park in unincorporated western Nevada County. ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER: 062-180-031. RECOMMENDED ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan pursuant to Section 15074 and 15097 of the California Environmental Quality Act. RECOMMENDED PROJECT ACTION: Recommend approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a Wireless Communication Facility. PROJECT PLANNER: Aleena Church, Assistant Planner. Members of the public may also provide comment by email to the Planning Department at planning@nevadacountyca.gov, or U.S. Mail to Nevada County Planning Department, 950 Maidu Ave, STE 170, Nevada City, California, 95959. Seven (7) days prior to the hearing, all documents pertaining to the proposed actions, Staff Reports and other supporting documents will be available upon request for public review at the Planning Department and can be found online at https://www.nevadacountyca.gov/516/Zoning-Administrator. You have the right to attend the Zoning Administrator meeting and public hearing to provide oral testimony and comment, and/or to submit written materials regarding the potential actions. The Zoning Administrator may place reasonable restrictions on the time allowed to any person to speak on these matters. Any person speaking on behalf of an organization or group who wishes additional time must have a written statement signed by an officer of that organization stating that she/he is authorized to speak on behalf of that body, and that she/he is relaying the majority thinking thereof.
