CITY OF NOVATO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE NOVATO PLANNING COMMISSION WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: HEARING DATE, TIME & LOCATION: Monday, April 13, 2026, 7:00 PM Novato City Hall, 901 Sherman Avenue PROJECT NAME & APPLICATION NO.: Habitat Redwood Blvd. Vesting Tentative Map and Entitlement Approvals Time Extension Request MEXT26-001 PROJECT LOCATION: 8161 Redwood Blvd. APN 125-580-25 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Request for a 1-year time extension of the vesting tentative map and entitlement approvals for the Habitat Redwood Blvd. Project, which includes development entitlements to create 80 residential units and a 2,154-square-foot commercial building on a 13.6-acre site, approved by City Council on January 25, 2022. No changes to the approved project are proposed. The extension is requested to provide the applicant with additional time to secure funding and financing for the Project. CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA): The project and its environment remain consistent with what was analyzed in the Initial Study/ Mitigated Negative Declaration that was adopted for the project by City Council on January 25, 2022. Therefore, no further CEQA review or determination is required for the requested action.
