NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VAL VERDE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT ADOPTING SCHOOL DEVELOPER FEE STUDY AND INCREASING STATUTORY SCHOOL FACILITY FEES IMPOSED ON NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENTS PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65995
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education ("Board") of the Val Verde Unified School District ("District") will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Meeting to be held on May 12, 2026, to allow for public comment prior to the consideration and adoption of the "Residential and Commercial/Industrial Development School Fee Justification Study” ("Study”), and to increase Statutory School Facility Fees imposed on Residential and Commercial/Industrial Construction per Education Code section 17620 and Government Code section 65995. The Study is on file at the District’s offices, located at 975 Morgan St., Perris, CA 92571, and is available for public review from May 1, 2026, through May 12, 2026 on the District’s website at www.valverde.edu.
The Public Hearing will be held on May 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as practicable, at Val Verde Unified School District located at 975 W. Morgan St., Perris, CA 92571. These matters will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the Board.
