Public hearing for a franchise agreement with Crimson California Pipeline, L.P.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Placentia will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of the Placentia City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Avenue on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to consider an ordinance, whereby
Crimson California Pipeline, L.P. (Crimson) is seeking a franchise agreement with the City of Placentia for the operation and maintenance of various pipeline locations in the City. This ordinance originates from the initial franchise agreement granted under Ordinance No. 99-O-122 with Crimson that has since expired.
Proposed Ordinance Title: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA GRANTING TO CRIMSON CALIFORNIA PIPELINE, L.P., A FRANCHISE TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN CERTAIN PIPELINES AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF HYDROCARBON SUBSTANCES IN THE CITY OF PLACENTIA
The full text of the proposed ordinance will be available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office at 401 E. Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to attend this hearing and express opinions upon the items listed above.
ANY WRITTEN MATERIALS should be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the hearing. Ten (10) copies are requested.
IF YOU CHALLENGE this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearings described in this notice or written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk prior to the hearing.
