NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SHASTA COUNTY ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing for the Assessment Appeals Board of the County of Shasta, State of California, to equalize the assessments of property on the local roll of the County of Shasta, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, CA. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Assessment Appeals Board will be in session from time to time until the business of equalization is completed on all applications. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that assessment appeal applications, with applicable filing fee, have been filed with the Clerk of the Board at the following location: Shasta County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Suite 308B, Redding, California 96001, beginning July 1, 2025, and ending December 1, 2025. All applications have been verified and state the facts upon which the claim for change of assessment is based. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that all interested parties are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding assessment appeals prior to the hearing or participate in the public hearing. Reasonable accommodations will be made to individuals with disabilities. To submit comments electronically, please forward them to clerkoftheboard@shastacounty.gov.
