NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Sections 99238.5 and 99401.5 of the California Public Utilities Code provide that a public hearing be held to receive testimony on whether or not there are public transportation needs which can be met by funds provided by the Transportation Development Act (Act). The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) must make this determination before it can allocate funds provided by the Act to projects other than public transit. While all funds provided by the Act are fully utilized on transit projects within San Bernardino County, SBCTA continues to hold a countywide Mobility Needs Public Hearing. Your comments will be used to improve transit services across the County. Comments will be received by SBCTA through testimony received at the public hearing, written communication and the recommendation of San Bernardino County Public and Specialized Transportation Advisory and Coordinating Council (PASTACC). Comments solicited are relevant to the public transportation needs throughout San Bernardino County, especially as they relate to the elderly, disabled, or under-privileged, or to providing transportation in environmentally sensitive areas. The public hearing will be held at the following time and location: Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
