TOWN OF TRUCKEENOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Truckee Town Council will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers of Town Hall at 10183 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, CA, on April 28, 2026, at the hour of 5:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter maybe heard, to receive and consider all evidence, reports, and public testimony to address the status of any vacancies in compliance with Assembly Bill 2561. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES are invited to attend said public hearing to express their opinion and/or submit evidence for or against the proposal as outlined above. If you are unable to attend the meeting you may submit written comments to the Town Clerk, Town of Truckee, 10183 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, CA 96161. If you plan on attending the public hearing and need a special accommodation because of a sensory or mobility impairment/disability, or have a need for an interpreter, please contact Kelly Carpenter, Town Clerk, at 530-582-2924, 72 hours in advance of the hearing to arrange for those accommodations to be made. Under California law, anyone who desires to challenge the nature of the Town Council’s action in court may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the public hearing as described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Town Clerk during or prior to the public hearing.
