Public Notice of Proposed Developer Fee Increase New Haven Unified School District PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board of New Haven Unified School District will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 to consider the proposed increase of existing developer impact fees. These fees are collected for the purpose of funding the construction or reconstruction of school facilities pursuant to Education Code section 17620. This fee would apply to new commercial and industrial construction, to new residential construction, and, to the extent of increases in assessable space, to other residential construction as provided by law. The public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m., or at a time as close thereafter as practicable, at the New Haven Unified School District Office, 34200 Alvarado Niles Road, Union City, CA 94587. All interested parties are encouraged to attend, speak, and be heard.
