The public hearing will be held on June 8, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the location listed above.The MDAQMD is proposing a fee increase of 2.00% to Rule 301 - Permit Fees with an effective date of January 1, 2027, to recover the rising costs associated with issuing permits, performing investigations, inspections, and audits, and the administrative enforcement and adjudication thereof. Rule 301 amendments also include revisions to section (E)(7)(g) to synchronize Rule 301 with Rule 1160. Rule 302 is proposed for a fee increase of 2.00% to provide accurate cost recovery for regulation of projects and/or operations involving asbestos removal and/or Solar within District jurisdiction. Rule 303 is proposed for a fee increase of 2.00% to provide accurate cost recovery for Hearing Board costs.
