NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS GIVEN HEREWITH that the Planning Commission of the City of Woodland, at its regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6:30PM in the City Council Chambers, 300 First Street, City Hall, Woodland, CA, will hold a public hearing for the following application: Conditional Use Permit for Pickleball Connection (PLNG-26-00009) The applicant, Jim Morrow, has submitted a Conditional Use Permit application for the entitlement of a community pickleball facility at 101 & 109 Harter Avenue. These properties are in the Industrial Flex (IF) zone per the City of Woodland Zoning Ordinance and in the Industrial General Plan Land Use area. If approved, the applicant will install eleven pickleball courts to be available as a community resource, managed by the nonprofit Pickleball Connection. The application proposes minor alterations to an existing structure and minor outdoor modifications within a developed urban setting that is less than five acres with no significant environmental impacts anticipated. Availability of Documents: The Planning Commission agenda and project staff report will be available on Friday, March 13, 2026, by 5:00 PM on the City of Woodland website at the following web address: https://www.cityofwoodland.gov/654/Meetings-Agendas. Public Comments: All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and express their opinions. Forms to express opposition or support of the project are available from the Community Development Department. All comments received will be given to the Planning Commission for their consideration. Please note that the City does not transcribe its hearings, however, summary minutes are prepared and are publicly available once approved by the hearing body.
