NOTICE OF DATE TO SUBMIT ARGUMENTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL QUALIFIED VOTERS of the SOUTH PASADENA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT that a SPECIAL BOND ELECTION will be held on TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026, in conjunction with the STATEWIDE DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION, to submit the following measure to the voters: To upgrade classrooms, labs, career training and school facilities to support college/career readiness in math, science, engineering, arts, and skilled trades; repair/equip/modernize older facilities to meet current health codes, safety codes, and disabled student access; and update instructional technology/IT infrastructure, shall South Pasadena Unified School District's measure authorizing $128,000,000 in bonds at legal rates be adopted, levying $48/$100,000 assessed value ($7,325,000 annually) while bonds are outstanding, with independent oversight/audits/all money locally controlled? Under Elections Code Sections 9502 and 9163, arguments for or against the measure must be filed with the: Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk, CA 90650 2nd Floor, Room 2013 No later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026 Each argument must not exceed 300 words and must include the signatures of no more than five authors .
