CITY OF APOPKA PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE APOPKA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN NOTICE is hereby given that TARA L. TEDROW, ESQ. has made application to amend the Future Land Use Element (FLUE) of the City of Apopka Comprehensive Plan, including updates to policies, tables, map references, and supporting text related to the Kelly Park Interchange Form-Based Code and the Town Center Overlay District. The proposed amendment may affect the use and development of land, buildings, and structures within the jurisdiction of the City of Apopka. Accordingly, the City of Apopka proposes to adopt the following ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 3150 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APOPKA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF APOPKA BY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT (FLUE) TO UPDATE POLICIES, TABLES, MAP REFERENCES, AND SUPPORTING TEXT RELATED TO THE KELLY PARK INTERCHANGE FORM-BASED CODE AND THE TOWN CENTER OVERLAY DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOTICE is given that a public hearing for Ordinance Number 3150 will be held by the City of Apopka Planning Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting in the City Council Chambers of the Apopka City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, Apopka, Florida 32703 on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 beginning at 5:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible. FURTHER NOTICE is given that a public hearing for Ordinance Number 3150 will be held by the City of Apopka City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting in the City Council Chambers of the Apopka City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, Apopka, Florida 32703 on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 beginning at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible. Interested parties and members of the public may appear at the above-listed hearings and be heard. Ordinance Number 3150, along with any additional information regarding the application and review process, may be inspected at the City of Apopka Community Development Department, Apopka City Hall, 120 E. Main Street, Apopka Florida 32703, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
