Invitation for subcontractor and supplier proposals for Florida Polytechnic-Miscellaneous Works Project.

Invitation to Bid
On behalf of Florida Polytechnic University, SEMCO CONSTRUCTION, INC., the Construction Manager for the "Florida Polytechnic-Miscellaneous Works Project", is soliciting subcontractor and supplier proposals. The project includes the following scopes of work: Concrete, Pressure Grouting, Caulking,  Roof Repairs, Pressure Washing/Painting, and Brick Paver Repairs.
 
Sealed Bids are due to SEMCO Construction, Inc., 205 Century Blvd, Bartow, FL 33830, on or before Wednesday, May 20, 2026 @ 4:00pm. Bids may also be uploaded via BuildingConnected.com. No bids will be accepted after the time and date specified.
 
There will be a Pre Bid Meeting and Site Visit on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:00am. Prospective bidders are to meet at Contractor Parking Lot on the Northeast side of the campus.

All bids must be firm bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the time set for opening bids. SEMCO Construction, Inc. and the City of Lake Wales reserve the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids. All proposals must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form.
