NOTICE IS HEREBY given that sealed bids will be received by the GATEWAY SERVICES CDD, 11922 Fairway Lakes Dr., Suite #1, Fort Myers, FL. 33913 until May 27, 2026 @ 10 AM ET.  Bids shall be opened at approximately 10:15 AM the same day in the Board Chambers, 13240 Griffin Drive, Fort Myers, FL. 33913.
Any bid received by the DISTRICT after the above date and time shall remain unopened.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled at the Board Chambers on May 6, 2026, at 9 AM ET or join online: tinyurl.com/PREBID-26-02. Following the meeting, bidders may visit the project site at 9200 Pelican Preserve Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The work on this contract generally consists of the following:
Base Bid:
a. Pavement maintenance and resurfacing of approximately 17,000 SY along Pelican Preserve Boulevard from its limits through Veneto Drive.
b. Installation of pavement markings, including lane striping, symbols, and traffic markings.
c. Maintenance of traffic and protection of existing improvements throughout construction.
Alternate No. 1 includes installation of bicycle lane striping, symbols, and associated markings along Pelican Preserve Boulevard (permit ready for issuance).
Alternate No. 2 includes restriping of additional GSCDD-maintained roadways within the Pelican Preserve limits, including removal and replacement of existing pavement markings as required.
The scope is further defined and detailed within the Plans, Technical Specifications and General Conditions associated with this project. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all documentation associated with this project. The project will be built in strict compliance with the plans and specifications in the Contract Documents.
The work shall be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state (including FDOT), and local standards and regulations, and in accordance with the approved construction documents. All materials shall be subject to review by the Engineer of Record.
Additional work may be requested by the DISTRICT to be performed as negotiated based on pricing provided in this bid, as well as other items deemed commensurate with the requested scope of work.
The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project.

The District reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the District, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in District's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids.
