OKALOOSA BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS ITB WS 52-26 POCAHONTAS LIFT STATION REPLACEMENT PROJECT Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, FL, will accept bids until3:00 May 27, 2026, for the Pocahontas Lift Station Replacement Project. The Project consists of sitepreparation, furnishing, and installation of a corrosion-proof polymer concrete precast wet well using thecaisson method with tremie pour for the bottom seal. The scope includes clearing and grubbing the site,installing erosion and sedimentation controls, excavating for the wet wellshaft, assembling and sealing wetwell sections with retainer straps and watertight joints, pouring the tremie seal concrete, installing thesecondary pour for the wet well bottom with chamfered edges, conducting buoyancy calculations,watertightness testing, and backfilling. Additionally, the scope include furnishing and installing two (2) ~25HP submersible, heavy duty, explosion proof, non-clog sewer pumps, base elbows, stainless steel dischargepiping and guide rail system; pump control panel, and all other appurtenances and related work required tocomplete the Work in accordance with the attached plans and specifications. The work is further defined asshown on the Plans and as described by the Contract Documents. Interested respondents desiring consideration shall submit their response online at OpenGov through thelink provided below: Current Solicitations & Public Notices | Okaloosa County A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM local time on May 12, 2026 at the OkaloosaCounty Water and Sewer Field Office Conference Room, 1808 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Unless otherwise stipulated in the bid/bid description, all responses must be submitted using OpenGov only.No other means of submission of responses will be accepted. Responses will be accepted by OpenGov until3:00 p.m. (CST) May 27, 2026, at which time all bids that are timely submitted will be opened and reviewed. The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive anyirregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and theresulting Agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final.
