REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Pursuant to Florida Statutes, the State of Floridas Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, and The State Requirements for Educational Facilities, the School Board of Alachua County, Florida, (SBAC) will consider the procurement of architectural services for the following project within the school district: LINCOLN-WILLIAMS K-8 SCHOOL REDESIGN & REDEVELOPMENT The project consists of the redesign and redevelopment of an existing elementary school and middle school with approximately 1400 permanent student stations. This project is comprised of new classroom buildings, core facilities including media, food service, support spaces, and renovation of existing buildings to remain. Site redesign will include demolition work, playgrounds, parking, parent and bus drives, and stormwater retention (if applicable). The final project scope is to be determined and may include adjusting capacity and core facilities. Design professionals will need to evaluate the condition and needs of existing HVAC systems and utility infrastructure. Environmental site rehabilitation will be included in this project. Coordination with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection will be necessary. Firms located in the State of Florida wishing to be considered for the above project should submit (8) copies of the following: A) Letter of interest for project B) Standard Form 330 (GSA) C) Other firm information for review including the firms current workload D) Proof of professional liability insurance (REQUIRED) E) A copy of applicable Florida professional registrations (including consultants) All submittals should be sent to Suzanne M. Wynn, Executive Director of Planning, Construction & Maintenance, 3700 NE 53rd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. 32609 (352-955-7400 ext. 1445). All firms interested must submit the above information no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
