Murray Middle School ? Phase 1 Early Procurement (ODP) and Early Works Notice is hereby given that Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc. (Construction Manager) for Martin County School District (Owner) will receive sealed proposals from qualified vendors and subcontractors for the Murray Middle School Phase 1 Project, located at 4400 SE Murray Street, Stuart, Florida 34997. Phase 1 includes, but is not limited to, the following bid packages and related work: HVAC ? Owner Direct Purchase (Vendor) Dual path AHUs, DX 100% OH AHUs, Water-cooled chiller, Chilled water and condensate pumps, VAVs and VFDs. Electrical ? Owner Direct Purchase (Vendor) Switchgear & 1 MTS transfer switch Bid Packages (Subcontractors) Surveying Requirements, Sitework, Asbestos Abatement, Building Demolition, Elevators, Select Electrical, Select HVAC work, Structural Steel Package (New Building), Testing and monitoring and Vibro-Replacement (New Building). Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc. is currently soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the above Early Procurement via ODP and subcontractors for Bid Packages. Interested vendors and subcontractors shall contact Wanda Stan by e-mail at wstan@hedrickbrothers.com for access to bid documents, procurement requirements, and proposal instructions. No phone calls. Plans, specifications, equipment schedules, procurement documents, and proposal requirements will be made available through Building Connected. Vendors and subcontractors are responsible for reviewing all issued documents, addenda, schedules, delivery requirements, and applicable Owner Direct Purchase procedures prior to submitting a proposal. Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc. is currently prequalifying subcontractors for the project through Compass. While prequalification is not mandatory to submit a bid, subcontractors must be prequalified prior to award. Bidders who are not prequalified at the time of award may be deemed non-responsive or otherwise ineligible for award consideration. All interested bidders are strongly encouraged to begin the prequalification process as soon as possible. Sealed proposals will be received at Hedrick Brothers Construction Co., Inc. offices located at 2200 Centrepark West Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida 33409, or may be submitted electronically through Building Connected which will remain sealed until bid opening date & time. All equipment, materials, submittals, delivery, coordination, and closeout requirements shall comply with the project documents, Martin County School District standards and applicable codes and Authority Having Jurisdiction. Owner and/or Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept any proposal which is in its best interest, and to waive any informalities and technicalities in procedure.
