NOTICE OF TAXATION AUTHORIZATION REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Election will be held on West Manatee Fire and Rescue District's ("District's") Taxation Authorization referendum on the 10th day of March, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The District's Taxation Authorization Referendum Election is held for the purpose of determining the following question:

Shall the West Manatee Fire and Rescue District ("District") be authorized to levy and collect an annual ad valorem tax on real property in an amount not to exceed 1 mill to provide additional operational revenue to fund the District's fire control and rescue services, infrastructure and facilities, including emergency medical services?
