NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida will hold a public hearing in the Melbourne City Hall Council Chamber, 900 E. Strawbridge Avenue, on February 24, 2026. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear the following request:


AV2025-0005: Providing for the vacation of the 30-foot-wide street right-of-way that runs east to west along the north property line and a 15-foot-wide alleyway that runs north to south dividing the property, both located at 2528 South Harbor City Boulevard.


Additional information, including a complete metes and bounds legal description for the requests, is available in the Engineering Department, 900 E. Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32901. Interested persons may submit written comments at or before the public hearing or attend the public hearing to be heard by the City Council. Correspondence should be addressed to the City Clerk, 900 East Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32901. The public hearing may be continued from time to time.
